The Ca' Rugate Winery recently reached one of the peak moments of its long history: celebrating the hundredth year of the man who first had the idea of investing in the world of wine in an age when very few people were doing so.

Fulvio Tessari, known as ‘Beo”, blew out candles numbering up to three digits for the first time last year. His story is one which is born and is nourished with the land, told in a beautiful monographic edition, (‘The magnificent hundredth of Fulvio Beo Tessari. The life and miracles of a man with his feet on the ground’) and in a film (‘Fulvio Beo, story of a history) made with the supervision of Mediataste.

Today Ca' Rugate is known throughout the world for the quality of its wines, born from the work and care put into over 70 hectares between Soave Classico and Valpollicella, where the cultivated indigenous grape varieties range from Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave and Durella for the whites, Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone for the reds.
